This is a photo of trees in the mist that I took on Exmoor recently on the same day that I photographed my Exmoor sunset view. It’s really quite amazing what difference just an hour or so can make to the weather. Admittedly there was also quite a change in elevation between the 2 photos.
I wish the mist was a little bit thicker so that it impeded the visibility of the main trees more but I still like the way it turned out. I think it definitely looks better in black and white. This photo was taken in a field to the left of the hill up to Dunkery Beacon. I was going to walk up to the beacon but the mist was so thick that I thought it would be a stupid endeavour.

Love thia photo. Very atmospheric and definitely better in B&W
Your work is amazing, one of the top photoblogs I have seen. Congratulations!
a great black&white picture, compliment.
As the other reviewers have said, this is a very atmospheric and well executed photograph. It’s also refreshing to find a photographer who isn’t afraid to reveal the specific location of a shot. Congratulations.
I’m happy to share photo spots Jerry and I’m actually trying to make a site to build a community of people to share photography locations in my spare time.
Thanks for your comments.

What a nice atmosphere!
Beautiful b&w!
Very beautiful image. The fog and composition combined with the choice of B&W is great.
