Instow Beach Yacht

Here is a photo of a yacht on Instow beach. Depending on the tides you sometimes get lots of shells on the beach surface that gives the sand an altogether different texture in photos. I like the clouds in this photo, its amusing how simple clouds can make or break a photograph.

In other news I have changed the theme for the blog this week. I’m hoping it will appear a bit friendly being brighter. The theme is just an evolution of my own custom theme with different colours and slight tweaks. I hope you like it, and I would be grateful for any feedback.

Even more news is that I received another noteworthy award on Photo Friday for A Devon Countryside View in the recent “open” theme. It’s not a major achievement but every little bit of acknowledgement is always appreciated by any, if not all photographers.
