Devon Beach Pollution photo

Devon Beach Pollution

Here is a photo of the pollution of Devon beaches. It was taken in Instow and is one of the more sombre things that I have found in the sand. It is a huge oil filter, I guess from a boat engine. I think it could be a good photo to highlight some of the needless pollution that goes on.

I quite like it as a photo, as it is nice to post something different every so often. I had a black & white shot in mind while I took this so that’s how I processed it. I think it has more impact as a black & white image.

The Devon weather certainly isn’t making life easy for me getting out with my camera after work recently. I’m determined to get out soon! I haven’t been idle though, I have been working hard learning PHP and improving my web development skills which will come in handy at work, but also for a few side projects that I have in mind. Hopefully I will get out soon and bag a nice collection of photos to make up for the poor weather!
