Archways Manchester library

This is a photo I took a while ago in Manchester, it’s the arches on Manchester library. I just felt like posting a photo of something other than boats for a change! I like the strong lines and changing light levels in the composition. I could probably have been a little more imaginative but around here architectural shots aren’t as readily available, it was also a pain waiting for a moment with no people.

    Is that a boat at the end of the archway? Looks suspiciously like a mast to me!!

    I love the repeating elements in this shot. The tones are very nice also.
