I finally got out with the camera the other night after what feels like an eternity. I went back to my familiar grounds that are Instow Beach, because I knew from checking the webcam that there are now plenty of boats moored along the beach again for the spring and summer seasons. As the sun started to ebb over the horizon the tide was coming in, it comes in quite fast along the estuary and I often found myself looking down to notice the water engulfing my feet. The think I liked about the incoming tide on this night was the fact that it aligns the anchored boats so that they all face into the tide. This made it possible to get several shots with the 3 yachts featured in this photo. I think the sun just bursting over the top of Appledore compliments the mood of the tranquil scene that was before me. I hope you like it.
In other news, I have just moved the blog to another web host. I felt the site was getting slower and slower each week, and I want to keep the site tip top so that it is a pleasure to view (hopefully). If you notice any issues I would be grateful if you could let me know so that I can fix them.
The site feels much smoother to be in testing so I hope it is better for everyone.
