The River Taw in Barnstaple runs past rock park. The cycle path runs parallel to the river as it goes into town. On a chilly morning when the tide is in the river looked very peaceful. The trees lining the river bank hide the park and cycle path from view which helps me to feel like I am actually further from the morning bustle than I am. I like the way the sky is clear, I feel in this photo that it actually makes it easier to spot the subtle details. On the horizon you can see the Barnstaple museum and the Imperial Hotel.
