A military landing craft approaches Instow beach in the ebbing light of dusk to perfect landing and deploying equipment onto the sand. I sometimes get told my images “just don’t do anything” for people, where does one draw the line between pleasing yourself or pleasing others, and what makes a better photo, an interesting but technically flawed shot or something perfect but more common? I guess if I could predict every shot that everyone likes I’d probably be living the life of Riley as a successful photographer. This shot is far from perfect, it was more of a reaction shot but I guess it’s not as common so might be deemed interesting if not poor.
Be well
